About

I am a husband, a father, and an old soldier.  A child of the 70’s, I grew up on a dairy farm in western Montana and fell in love with science fiction at an early age, learning to escape the doldrums of real life very early on.

I am a big fan of post-apocalypse and dystopian fiction and with the advent of indie publishing, I am never at a loss for material to enjoy. The purpose of this blog is to talk about things I like – spreading the word about post-apocalyptic, dystopian, and science fiction books, television shows, and movies.

My wife is well on her way to writing a children’s fantasy trilogy and a young adult dystopian novel and I am waiting for the day to spread the word about her.

I like to roam the wasteland of social media, scavenging a piece from here, a piece from there, and sharing with my fellow wanderers.  You can find me picking through the ruins of Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. I’ve recently started up a Podcast and hope to bring you into the bunker as I chat with creators within the genre.

When I’m not reading about mutated horrors and reluctant heroes, I like to read the occasional military science fiction novel and blog every so often, featuring guest blogs from such authors such as Arthur H. Walker, S.C. Flynn, Joe Turk, Drew Avera, Carrie Bailey, Tyler Bumpus, and others.

Thanks for visiting!
